BEFORE MY TRIP:
>> You guys offer a bunch of different destinations throughout China, how do I know which one to pick?
Sometimes picking a destination for the perfect trip can be tedious, and that’s where we come in. Our well travelled and experienced staff members will work with you to help you customize the package that will best suit you and your group.
>> Will I have access to the internet?
Depending on the trip you plan, there will be times when you won’t have access to the internet. For instance, if you plan a long distance bike trip through the plains of Inner Mongolia internet access will be limited.
>> Will my cell phone work?
Cell phones work at most destinations, depending on your mobile providers. We’ve found that text messaging can be used effectively to communicate with your friends and family back home. For detailed information on cell phones in your destination, contact your provider.
>> I can’t go anymore. What do I do?
All cancellation requests for CnAdventure must be given in writing to Assistant@CnAdventure.com. Depending on the situation and timing we will see what we can do.

We plan your trip around exciting and beautiful locations, traveler-friendly hotels, and fascinating cultural experiences, giving you the chance of a lifetime time to truly explore the world.
>> Do I need to purchase my own travel insurance?
Most trips run smoothly, but once in awhile something unexpected can happen, that’s why we highly recommend that before coming to China you possess health and travel accident insurance. We take all the necessary precautions to make sure your safety is at first-hand, but it is always best to have it.
>> Are travel vaccinations required before departure?
Although there are no mandatory inoculations for any of our CnAdventure destinations in China, the best person to ask is your family doctor. We don’t give medical advice because we’re not medical professionals.

DURING MY TRIP:
>> Is the lodging safe?
All overnight accommodations will be in a 4-star hotel in a big city, the best hotel in small cities or countries, clean and carefully-chosen guest house/hotel/ or home-stay in village or old town.
>> What documents do I need to travel?
All CnAdventure passengers whom are not a Chinese citizen are required to have a valid passport to enter China. We also suggest you bring at least one piece of government photo ID, such as a driver’s license. Please note it is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain all necessary travel documents. Double check with the appropriate embassy before your departure to ensure that you have met all entry requirements.
>> What if I have food allergies or special meal requirements?
By contacting one of our staff members we’ll work with you to find a solution.
>> Who are the guides?
CnAdventure hires travel professionals with a love and passion for outdoor travel and adventure. Staff range from age 25-50. In preparing for a tour, staff are subject to a rigorous screening process, including training to review protocols and procedures.
>> Is the food and water safe?
It is important to keep bottled water on hand at all times. Tap water in China is not drinking water. Because even a small change in diet can affect your digestive system, we recommend that those with sensitive stomachs be sure to bring the appropriate medications just in case.
>> How much spending money should I bring?
This is up to you. Being that most of the trip costs are covered in the package price you should mainly bring enough for any snacks, souvenirs, shopping, and other incidentals.
>> What makes the CnAdventure’s outdoor trips around China different from others?
Well there are many answers to this, but just to name a few: Our tours are private so you won’t find any delays from picking up other tourists at hotels around the city. All of our guides are English speaking and stay with you the entire trip. Our guides carry 2-way radios as well as a cell phone in case of emergency. We use safe, government-licenses vehicles, not dubiously maintained family car or taxi. There are never any “forced shopping” stops! There are no hidden costs like fuel surcharges. These are just the specifics, but in general, we’re the best because our trips are memorable, fun, safe, and life-changing.
>> What happens in a medical emergency?
In the unlikely event of a medical emergency, the first priority is ensuring that the injured person receives immediate medical attention. All trips are staffed by experienced and trained CnAdventure staff comfortable with local culture and trained in first responder tactics. CnAdventure generally escalates the situation immediately, involving our most senior staff members as necessary. As the situation stabilizes, we’ll continueto monitor the student as appropriate, following the instructions of medicalprofessionals.
