This tour will familiarize you with several of the best-known areas in China –Exploring ancient Beijing and hiking along the Great Wall,Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an, Panda exploration in their habitat and mysterious Yunnan province with its interesting ethnic groups. At the same time, what makes this tour differenciated with others are we are actually add more adventure experiences in it, such as hiking along the Great Wall, biking on one of the oldest city wall, Tiger Leaping Gorge Hiking. We believe that with those authentic experiences for your first China trip would make the tour a truly memorable one indeed.  

This is an abbreviated version of our more-comprehensive 12-day hike. It is carefully designed for the Great Wall enthusiast who would like to experience the best parts of the eastern Wall, but who has only limited time. We start on the ocean, at Dragon’s Head, and hike eastward to Dongjiakou, where descendants of the original builders still proudly maintain “their” section of the wall. A really unique experience!  

This route is particularly demonstrate the diverse lanscapes in Western Sichuan Province. We are going to spend most of time exploring exceptional tableland of Sichuan, as well as deeply looking at the sacred life style of the tibetan people in Tagong Glassland.. The hightlights of this tour includes full day hiking in Hailuogou National Glacier Forest reserve and horse riding in Mt Siguniang. Moreover, you will have the chance to shoot a glance at one of the highest mountains in the world, Mt.Gongga in Xindu Bridge, a so-called ‘ heaven for photography’.  

Mt. Huangshan(Yellow Mountain) is one of the World Nature Heritage site in China. Amazing sunrise, sunglow and beauty of seas clouds make you a worderful trip. If you are good hkier why not enjoy 2-day hiking here?  

Mount Kailash is perhaps the most sacred of Holy Mountains in Tibet. Together with the two lakes of Mansorovar and Rakas Tal, the region is one of the few truly natural wonders of the World. This tour also include the fascinating sites of Tsada in the ancient kingdom of Guge. It is noted for its fine frescoes which the kings of Guge commissioned the finest artists in Kashmir to paint, while both sites promise absolutely breathtaking scenery as we cross the Lhadak Range into the Sandstone canyon of the Sutlej River. 

Minority exploration in Southwest Yunnan province,.Nujiang Gorge is a mysterious area rich in ethnic culture. On festival days, the Lisu people dress in their holiday best, bring their families to the river region, set up their yurts close to the river bank or in nearby fields, and come together on sandy beaches for “Zaotanghui“（public bath）. 

K2 peak, locally known by the name of "Chogo Ri" which means "The Great Mountain", 8,611m, is the 2nd highest mountain in the world. K2 is taken from the first letter of Karakorum, and the number indicates that it was the second peak in the range to be measured. K2 is placed on the Pakistan - China border in the mighty Karakoram range. With no simple routes, K2 is known as the finest and most dangerous mountain in the world. This is because of the massiveness in the size of this mountain and the numerous unsuccessful attempts made on it by various expeditions, which include mostly American expeditions(K2 Expeditions & Attempts list is available at the end of the page) . K2 was firstly climbed on July 31st, 1954 by Italian climbers team lead by Ardito Desio and accompanying him were Lino Lacedelli and Achille Compagnoni. It was first reached from north side from China in 1982 by Japanese, a feat that has rarely been repeated.  

This 5 days Great Wall hiking excursion covers different areas of the “Wild Wall” fairly close to Beijing, but which most tourists never have a chance to see. As a special opportunity offered to China Wall hiking enthusiasts, this excursion will transverse the best hiking sections of the Huangyaguan Great Wall, Wohushan Great Wall, Jianshanling Great Wall, Guibeikou Great Wall, Jiankou, Huanghuacheng Great Wall, and Xishuiyu Great Wall.

Hiking at length along the Great Wall is substantially different than simply making the customary short visit. On the one hand, you will be physically challenged; on the other hand, you will obtain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese history and culture. Muztagh Ata is not just a name but actually has a meaning: "Father of all Icepeaks". Sounds impressive... However the story goes that the explorer who mapped the area for the first time asked a boy, what the name of the mountain was and the boy answered, "Muztagh, Ata", meaning "Icepeak, father" (father being used out of respect for the elderly stranger). Another example that a comma can make a big difference. 

Guilin, at home and abroad, is primarily known for its enticing and unique scenery. Chinese frequently refer to it as the world's most beautiful scenery. Hiking into the countryside of Yangshuo along Li river, cycle through the rice paddies and raft on Yulong River. All of these will make you a wonderful experience of real China.  

New member of the World Heritage sites-Hakka Earthen building exploration. Environmentally friendly trekking instead of vehicle transfer in diverse hakka villages. Overnight in one of the Earthen buildings to deeply experience local Hakka’s life.  

Each August, over 10,000 people will get together in Nakchu grassland to celebrate their Horse-racing Festival, when they will run their horses, eat, drink and enjoy themselves during the annual horse festival holiday. Then we will trek around the Largest saltwater lake Namtso-Chukmo, one of the most sacred lake in Tibet. Lake Namtso-Chukmo is also home to migratory birds between April and November; if we are lucky, we may be able to see the rare black-necked crane.  

The Great Wall is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. None-the-less it is slowly disappearing – 30% is in now in ruins, only 20 percent is in reasonable shape, and only 10 percent is protected. To have the opportunity to hike it from one end to the other is the experience of a lifetime. Departs from Sanya, the most beautiful tropical city of Hainan province, cycle north to the central Hainan island to experience the authentic living style of local people. Besides, there are plenty of rare flora and fauna to explore when breaking into the amazing rain forest. After a day expedition in Wuzhi Moutain, we will cycle to a glazing land to see traditional Hainan farm and camping in their places, taste local delicacy. The next day, ride downhill to encounter the beach again and ferry to Fenjiezhou Island to participant in water activities by yourselves and also feel free to enjoy hot spring around Sanya. 

Lugu Lake is located in northwest part of Yunnan province, it covers 58 square kms, the water is very clear. The unique matriarchal Mosuo people live by the lake, which earned this area another name: the Mysterious Queendom. Yading is located in southwest corner of Sichuan province, it is well-known for the 3 holy peaks named by the 5th Dalai Lama, Shiannairi Peak(6032 m high), Xianuoduoji Peak(5898 m high), Yangmaiyong Peak(5898 m high). Every year, there are many people trek around the 3 holy peaks for increasing their merits and virtues.  

Tiger Leaping Gorge,tucked between the Yulong Snow Mountain and the Haba Mountains, offers one of the most attractive trekking in Southwest China. A thunderous roar of the gushing river welcomes you as you approach the 16-kilometer gorge, which runs along the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Starting from Lijiang, a delightful Naxi town located near the Tibetan border, we will enter the spectacular gorge via roads set among terraced hills. From here you will walk along enchanting - and at times hair raising - paths overlooking a fall of 800 meters (689 ft) and a series of more than twenty rapids.  

The Stone town is located about 110 km north of Lijiang in Yunnan province. It comprises of more than one hundred families on the top of a gigantic rock. This town was built in the late 13th century (Yuan Dynasty). In the Naxi tongue, it is called "La Bai Lu Pan Wu". La Bai was the first local Naxi leader, who lives here. Lu Pan Wu means white stone village. This town has such a long history due to it's unique geographic location. Below this stone town and towards the eastern side, lies the Golden Sand River. The other three sides are steep cliffs. The top of the cliff becomes a guarding post for the town.In this town, you may feel amazed at the sight of many household equipments which were make of stone. In most of the houses, their household items e.g. table, bed, water tank, fire stove are all carved out of big stones. You may wonder where do they do their farming of crops. They do their planting just below this uniquely perched village. 

The best season for visiting Mt.Kawagebo(6,740m/22,107ft) is in the fall time and it must be clear day. The snow-capped Mountains, whose every peak is the subject of an enchanting tale. The glacier at the foot of the peak extends 11,000 feet downward to a surprisingly low level, seeming to plunge into the Lancang (Mekong ) River. Tucked away at the foot of Mt. Kawagebo, one of Tibet's most sacred mountains, is the stunningly beautiful and isolated village of Yubeng. With the exception of the occasional mountain climbing expedition and Buddhists on a pilgrimage to the mountain and sacred waterfall a half-day's walk away, Yubeng is rarely visited by outsiders. The villagers' timeless way of life - herding yak, plowing the fields and fetching water from the nearby glacier stream - has changed little over the centuries. This trip will start from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, and take us to the northwestern part of the province on the Tibetan Plateau. We will follow the same trail that pilgrims take on their way to Mt. Kawagebo.
