Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven is a must place to visit in Beijing. It is three times bigger than the Forbidden City with an area of about 2,700,000 square meters. The Temple was built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty for the royal family members to offer sacrifice to Heaven. There are famous attractions such as The Circular Altar, The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, Three Echo Wall etc.
